Quand j’étais petite, en commençant ainsi mon article j’ai l’impression de démarrer une histoire « once upon a time » 
Bref, depuis petite, j’ai toujours aimé la mode, les étoffes, le tissu, admirer les belles tenues de certaines époques, l’élégance des costumes.
J’avais une tante qui cousait, mais elle ne m’a jamais appris, je dirais que ce n’était pas son truc de transmettre aux enfants
Je rêve de savoir coudre depuis très très longtemps, malheureusement je n’avais personne dans la famille qui pouvait m’apprendre, ma mère c’était le tricot qui la branchait.
Prendre des cours de couture quand j’étais jeune sur mon île, était hors de prix comme le tissu, donc pas vraiment de motivation pour m’y mettre. Arrivée en France, j’ai longtemps cherché des cours de couture. Soit ils étaient hors de prix, ou bien les horaires ne me correspondaient pas. J’ai eu tenté quelques cours pendant ma pause-déjeuner au travail, mais c’était trop rapide. Il faut déjà avoir des connaissances je trouve pour se mettre à ce genre de cours. J’étais à chaque fois frustrée.
Il y a quelques années, MonChéri m’avait offert une petite machine à coudre, qui m’a bien dépanné. Je me suis lancée à faire des ourlets, quelques coutures basiques. Mais je n’arrivais pas à oser me lancer dans des travaux de patrons. A l’époque, il n’y avait pas autant de tuto sur Youtube ou en story Instagram.
Et puis, par hasard, l’an dernier en juillet, une de mes collègues me dit qu’elle a vu des flyers de cours de couture. Elle m’en a apporté, j’ai consulté le site de la couturière, elle se trouvait dans mon secteur, les tarifs étaient hyper intéressants. Coup de fil, prise de contact, et rendez-vous pour la rentrée pour les cours. J’ai réellement débuté vers octobre, et je me suis éclatée dès le départ. Un petit groupe de quatre personnes le mercredi matin, une professeur très à l’écoute, et disponible. Une grande pause depuis le confinement, hâte à septembre pour la reprise.
D’ailleurs, cette période de confinement, je me suis osée à me lancer seule dans des petits ouvrages. J’ai commencé par des masques, ensuite ceux aux normes AFNOR. Et puis, je me suis dit pourquoi ne pas continuer sur autre chose, pour me faire la main, et voir ce que j’avais à corriger ?
J’ai donc réalisé deux sweat-shirt, une jolie tunique en double gaze que j’adore, et un pyjama. J’ai prévu d’autres patrons durant l’été
Si vous aussi, la couture vous attire, je n’aurais qu’un mot (ou deux) à vous dire : lancez-vous !!

J’adore aussi la couture depuis des années! Ma machine à coudre est en panne, il faut que je la fasse réparer!
Moi aussi, je veux apprendre comment coudre. Je crois que je vais aimer la couture si quelqu’un peut m’enseigner la base.
